EleMes
I was thinking of making a Elementalist/Mesmer, putting points into fire/air magic to dish out some nice damage, energy storage to Give me enough mana to dish out more, and inspiration to steal more mana and keep dishing it out.
is this a good build? ive never played the game yet(amazon didnt send a ticket for BWE ) so im not sure how it would work in pvp or pve. |

as for being tops in both air and fire you will have to make *shudder* choices because you cant be best in all areas |

I agree with Loviatar, choose one or the other if you're gonna keep Inspiration. If you want a pure Elementalist, Fire and Water are good choice sin IMO. I'm considering doing the same thing eventually.

Ok i got my hands on a char builder so here goes
EleMes: Attributes: Energy Storage {P} 14(11+3) Fire Magic 14(10+4) Inspiration 10 Skills: Flare Lava Font Rodgort's Invocation Mark of Rodgort Meteor Fire Atunnment Energy Drain Power Drain Runes: Superior Fire Magic Superior Energy Superior Vigor The pyromancers armor is merely chosen to fit the style, can be changed easily. Also I used superior runes unlike most, since this is a more specialized magic user, who avoids getting hit at all costs. (the vigor rune tries to counteract the other runes, so i lose 100hp instead of 150hp) If you have any reccomendations for replacement skills feel free to recommend, Im afraid I may have made a few decisions based on what looked cool, not having played the game (GOD I HATE AMAZON! ). Ok heres 2 more builds I want to try-the NecroMonk and the WarRan NecroMonk Attributes: Soul Reaping 11(10+1) Death Magic 11(10+1) Healing Prayers 11 Skills: Orison oh Healing Word of Healing Healing Breeze Heal Area Infuse Conditions Animate Bone Minions Ressurect Light of Dwayna Runes Minor Soul Reaping Minor Death Magic Superior Vigor This is a mostly healing char, designed to dwell on death, so i gave him an extra ressurect. This allows him to occasional let one of the other players just die and give him mana when need be, and not need to resurrect each one seperatly. Plus he can summon minions to protect him, and when they die, they give him MORE mana! I also think that the healer being a necro might throw the enemy off guard, since it seems (in essence, it seems to work out real well) to be an unlikely combo. WarRan Attributes: Strength 13(12+1) Swordsmanship 13(12+1) Marksmanship 3 Skills Savagw Slash Pure Strike Hamstring Sever Artery Gash Griffon Sweep Endure Pain Battle Sweep Runes: Minor Strength Minor Swordsmanship Superior Vigor This one is more of a tank/healer protector, since he has ways to keep the enemy close and take a few hits. Also id like to note how Sever Artery and Gash make a nice combo. Also if he cant get to his enemy he can whip out his bow(probably a short bow) so he isnt screwed if he is snared. These 3 classes seem like they would work VERY well together, NecroMonk healing, WarRan pulling/tanking ( he has a bow and can takethe hits so=good tank) and the EleMes pumping out the damage fast as she can. (hey all three spell out NEW-NecroMonk-EleMes-WarRan ) Tell me if this herby dubbed N.E.W. group look like a good setup, and thanks in advance for your opinions Last edited by ThePaper; Mar 14, 2005 at 06:21 AM // 06:21.. |
